The general meeting of the International Association for Trans-Caspian International Transport Route was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The meeting began with the commemoration of those lost their lives in the earthquake hit Türkiye this week, then the meeting followed with discussions of a report on the action plan for 2022, then the action plan for 2023 on the route, tariff policy and the admission of new members to the Association of Legal Entities of the International Association of Trans-Caspian International Transport Route were reviewed and approved.
Port of Baku is represented at the two-day long meeting by Khudayar Hasanli, head of Strategic Planning and Development Department, and Anar Ibrahimov, head of Sales and marketing department.
It should be noted that the general meetings are held on regular basis and main purpose is to maximize the capacity of the route, discuss critical milestones to attract more transshipment cargos throughout the route.
