Britain Interested in Expanding Trade and Investment in Azerbaijan

The United Kingdom supports a new stage of economic cooperation with Azerbaijan.

"innews media" reports that British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Duncan Norman made the remarks at a press conference in Baku.

The ambassador said that economic growth is one of the priorities of the UK government. According to him, Azerbaijan is an important economic partner for the United Kingdom.

D. Norman stressed that developing trade, investment and regional connectivity would help further deepen economic ties between the two countries:

“Azerbaijan is an important economic partner for us. We are supporting a new stage of economic cooperation by building deeper ties in trade, investment and regional connectivity. This will benefit the people and businesses of both Britain and Azerbaijan, while creating a stable and prosperous economic environment for future generations.”
