Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport, held a meeting with Nurlan Zhakupov, Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, who is on an official business visit to our country.
During the meeting, the current state and development prospects of bilateral cooperation in the transport and logistics sector were discussed. The parties also exchanged views on the results achieved and key objectives within the framework of the joint dredging operations at ports in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a shareholders’ agreement was signed between AZCON Holding and Samruk-Kazyna Invest LLP, a subsidiary of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, for the establishment of a joint venture aimed at purchasing a dredging vessel and carrying out dredging operations.
