A meeting was held with about 100 graduates of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) who are working at SOCAR Downstream Management.
Speaking at the meeting, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov expressed satisfaction with the graduates' achievements and wished them success in their future endeavors. The Rector emphasized that the university was proud of their success.
“The appointment of nine BHOS graduates who are working at SOCAR Downstream enterprises to management positions in a short period of time is a clear evidence of the high level of trust placed in BHOS graduates. The fact that 25 graduates were employed by SOCAR Downstream Management last year also exemplifies the trust placed in BHOS education.”
Elmar Gasimov emphasized that the increase in the number of BHOS graduates working in the company and rising to management positions is a source of great pride, adding that the graduates effectively apply the knowledge and skills they gained at the university in the production process.
Speaking at the meeting, Managing Director of SOCAR Downstream Management Emil Alkhasli noted that BHOS graduates demonstrate a high level of professionalism and have proven their competence in the production sector.
“As a result of the activities of BHOS graduates, the number of women employees in production has also increased, and 30 percent of the graduates are women.”
In his remarks, Director of Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery Khayal Jafarov expressed satisfaction with the professionalism of BHOS graduates, noting that three graduates have already been promoted to management positions within the company in a short period of time.
Speaking at the meeting, BHOS graduates emphasized that the knowledge and skills they acquired at BHOS have played a significant role in their professional development.
