On October 4-5, for the first time in Azerbaijan, the International Barbecue Festival will take place in Meysari village, Shamakhi. The event is organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Shamakhi District Executive Authority, and Chef Don David from the World Barbecue Association.
The festival will feature live demonstrations of barbecue cooking techniques by top chefs from around the globe, including the President of the World Barbecue Association, the personal chef of the King of Saudi Arabia, international culinary judges, and other honorary members.
The main aim of this international event is to showcase Azerbaijani hospitality, cuisine, and cultural values to the world, while also fostering cultural exchange.
In designated zones, each representing North and Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Azerbaijan, professional chefs will present a variety of flavors and cooking styles, sharing their culinary specialties. There will also be a fun competition where media participants can show off their skills in front of professional chefs and have a chance to win prizes.
Throughout the event, there will be various live music performances, spectacular fire shows, dance demonstrations, entertaining master classes for children, and unique flavors, making this festival an unforgettable and extraordinary experience.
