An "open door" day was organized for 5th-8th grade students of "LANDAU SCHOOL" high school with the support of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Academy and Sports and Health Club organized by the Ministries of Science and Education, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Baku City Youth and Sports General Department.
The purpose of the event was to inform the students about the history, development and activities of the Ministry of Education, to help the comprehensive development of schoolchildren, their physical and spiritual growth, and the formation of a culture of safe life activities in them.
First, the schoolchildren got acquainted with the Heydar Aliyev Center operating in the Academy. Here, students were given extensive information about the life and activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The students got acquainted with the Academy's museum, classrooms, laboratories, library, rescue and firefighting equipment and equipment. In addition, educational conversations were held with children about the rules of behavior related to emergency situations, and their questions were answered.
Later, the students in the Sports and Health Club of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs got acquainted with the conditions created here. The head of the club, Colonel Fuzuli Musayev, met with the children and inspected the 2000-seat universal hall, fitness, judo, boxing, wrestling, karate and taekwondo halls, swimming pool. Then the schoolchildren got acquainted with the museum created in the club. The students were told about the activities of the club, the successes of the employees and members of the club in the world and European championships, as well as in other tournaments, the healthy and patriotic upbringing of children, young and adolescent athletes, the process of their preparation for competitions, and the questions were answered.
