SOCAR President Meets with Chairman of the Management Board of KazMunayGas

On 1 June 2026, within the framework of Baku Energy Week, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Askhat Khassenov, Chairman of the Management Board of KazMunayGas.

During the meeting, it was noted that cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the energy sector continues to develop successfully, and satisfaction was expressed with the partnership established between SOCAR and KazMunayGas.

The parties reviewed the progress of the project for the transportation of Kazakh oil through Azerbaijan, highlighting its successful implementation and the work carried out in this regard. They also exchanged views on joint investment opportunities in third countries and other issues of mutual interest.
