On 8 May, the WUF13 Festival took place in Ganja, bringing together residents and visitors as part of wider efforts to raise awareness of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
The event was attended by Niyazi Bayramov, Head of the Ganja City Executive Authority, alongside other senior officials and representatives of the public.
Through a programme of interactive activities, educational games, presentations and public discussions, a broad audience engaged with themes including sustainable urban development, inclusive urban environments, innovative urban solutions and the cities of the future.
The interactive programme, which drew close to 28,000 participants, featured a series of quiz-based competitions on WUF13, urban development and the architectural heritage of Ganja, with prizes awarded for correct answers.
