On April 29, 2026, Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) participated in an event organized by the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK) dedicated to the placement of “PASHA Bank” shares through an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
The event, held within the framework of the next meeting of the AHK Financial Services Working Group, served as a platform for discussing current issues related to IPO mechanisms, investor behavior and market infrastructure in the capital markets.
The event, moderated by Vugar Namazov, General Director of Unicapital Investment Company, featured Sarkhan Piriyev, Head of Trading Department of PASHA Bank, Farhad Mansurov, Head of Listing at the Baku Stock Exchange, and Royal Latifli, Head of Client Order Reception and Execution Department of Unicapital Investment Company.
During the discussions, the strategic goals behind the IPO decision, the main points that investors should pay attention to in this process, as well as the importance of dividend policy for investors were exchanged.
In addition, the issues of information accessibility for investors and the reliability of investments, the existing mechanisms for trading shares on the secondary market, the Baku Stock Exchange, opportunities for participation in IPOs, and the impact of digitalization on this process were widely discussed.
The event concluded with active discussions among the participants and a question-and-answer session.
