On April 27, 2026, the Baku Stock Exchange, in collaboration with EY Azerbaijan, hosted an event titled “Tax Advantages of Listing.” The event brought together representatives of companies that are members of the EY Tax Club, serving as a platform to discuss the opportunities created by listing from both tax and capital markets perspectives.
The event opened with welcome remarks by Ogtay Gasimov, Deputy CEO of the Executive Board of the Baku Stock Exchange, Chief Commercial Officer at the Baku Stock Exchange, and Arzu Hajiyeva, Partner in Tax and Legal Services at EY Azerbaijan.
The panel discussion, moderated by Arzu Hajiyeva, featured contributions from Sarxan Piriyev, Head of Trading at PASHA Bank, and Farhad Mansurov, Head of Listing at the Baku Stock Exchange. The speakers provided detailed insights into the significant recent developments in Azerbaijan’s equity market regulatory framework, the impact of new listing rules on market structure and quality, and key aspects of share allocation.
During the discussions, using PASHA Bank as a case study, participants were presented with detailed information on post-IPO share trading opportunities, methods for monitoring daily market prices, key factors influencing share prices, and the importance of dividend policy for investors.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants’ questions were addressed and active discussions took place.
