The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDDT) hosted a meeting with a U.S. Delegation.
Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rahman Hummatov held a meeting with Rebecca Neff, Senior Advisor at the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs.
During the meeting, it was noted that relations between Azerbaijan and the United States have been elevated to the level of a strategic partnership, and the importance of making more efficient use of the existing cooperation potential was emphasized.
The parties exchanged views on international transport corridors passing through Azerbaijan, the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) initiative, and cooperation opportunities under the Charter of Strategic Partnership, particularly in the areas of transport and artificial intelligence.
Opportunities for U.S. companies to participate in transport infrastructure projects being implemented in Azerbaijan, as well as in initiatives related to artificial intelligence, data centers, and other priority areas, were also discussed.
