A presentation ceremony for the book "International Cooperation in the Post-Soviet Space: Former Soviet Republics and Theories of International Politics" by Farhad Huseynov, Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations at Baku State University (BSU), was held.
The book was published by Bloomsbury Academic and is included in the Library of Congress catalog.
Hijran Huseynova, Chair of the Milli Majlis Committee on Family, Women, and Children's Issues and Head of the Department of Diplomacy and Modern Integration Processes at BSU, noted that the book's presentation of Azerbaijan's regional policy as an example of cooperation and stability is not accidental: "I believe that this publication, included in the Library of Congress catalog, will help introduce the world to the essence of the far-sighted and correct policy of the Azerbaijani state."
Member of the Milli Majlis, Soltan Mammadov, emphasized that this research work is useful for studying the region's international relations system and wished the author success.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vilayat Guliyev, noted that Azerbaijan also needs to study the domestic political, economic, and institutional factors influencing the foreign policy behavior of post-Soviet states.
Additional speakers at the event included Bakhtiyar Aslanbeyli, BP Vice President for Communications and External Relations in the Caspian Region; Tofig Abbasov, Head of the Public and Political Programs Studio at Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting; political scientist and journalist Teymur Atayev; and professors Khalid Niyazov and Ramiz Sevdimaliyev, both from the Department of International Relations at Baku State University.
In conclusion, the book's author, Farhad Huseynov, expressed his gratitude for organizing the presentation.
