A delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Turkish Defense Industry Committee Hakan Karataş and Deputy Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Hidayat Azimov visited Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).

BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov introduced the guests to the campus, infrastructure, and laboratories of the university.

During the extended meeting, the rector presented detailed information about the educational programs, emphasizing that they were developed in accordance with industry requirements and that BHOS is one of the successful examples of cooperation between universities and industry.

In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Turkish Defense Industry Committee Hakan Karataş emphasized the important role of higher education institutions in the development and implementation of research projects.  Deputy Chairman expressed a high opinion of Baku Higher Oil School.

Deputy Minister of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan Hidayat Azimov highly praised the modern approaches to the educational process and the model for training highly qualified specialists implemented at Baku Higher Oil School.  Deputy Minister noted that the university’s students and graduates actively participate in projects carried out by the Ministry.

The meeting also featured a broad exchange of views on prospective projects and opportunities for future cooperation.
