A delegation from the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) paid an official visit to the Republic of Chad. The delegation also included senior representatives from state-owned companies and technopark residents. The visit took place at the invitation of Mr. Boukar Michel, Minister of Telecommunications, Digital Economy, and Digitalization of Public Administration of the Republic of Chad.
As part of the visit, an official meeting was held between the IDDA delegation and Mr. Allamaye Halina, Prime Minister of the Republic of Chad. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in innovation, education, and digital development, exploring the export potential of Azerbaijani digital products, exploring opportunities for joint projects and exchanging experience.
A meeting was held with Mr. Boukar Michel, Minister of Telecommunications, Digital Economy, and Digitalization of Public Administration of the Republic of Chad. The discussion focused on ongoing and planned digital projects in the Republic of Chad, priority areas and strategic goals in digitalization and innovation, opportunities for cooperation under the memoranda signed between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Chad, the development of the innovation ecosystem, the establishment of digital infrastructure, and the exchange of experience in the digitalization of public services.
As part of the visit, the IDDA delegation also held meetings with senior officials from several ministries and government agencies of the Republic of Chad. During these meetings, discussions were held on potential cooperation in the areas of digital government infrastructure development, cybersecurity, and innovation. Azerbaijani technopark residents, who were part of the IDDA delegation, also participated in these meetings, discussing the potential export opportunities for digital products.
It should be noted that the main objectives of the visit were to promote Azerbaijani digital products and solutions in the Republic of Chad and support their export, to discuss opportunities for implementing large-scale projects, and to establish cooperation in the digital sector between the two countries.
