Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) hosted a Banking Exhibition with the participation of the country's leading banks.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) Elmar Gasimov stated that the Banking Exhibition, organized for the first time in the country at BHOS, will be held regularly in the future. The Rector emphasized that such events are of great importance for the development of students’ practical skills. He expressed confidence that participating in the exhibition would be beneficial for students. Elmar Gasimov urged students to take advantage of the opportunity provided.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Chairperson of the Central Bank Gular Pashayeva urged students to regularly enhance their knowledge and skills in the era of rapid transformations in the financial and technology sectors. Gular Pashayeva noted that BHOS creates favorable conditions for its students in this area and collaborates with reputable companies and institutions.

This was followed by a panel discussion on the topic “Career Path in the Banking Sector.” During the discussion, Deputy Director for Retail Banking of Bank Respublika Khanali Dadashev, Director of IT Infrastructure Department of ABB Anar Gojayev, Director of Human Resources Management Department of Bank of Baku Gulara Novruzova-Gozelova, Head of Cybersecurity Department of Kapital Bank and BHOS graduate Sanan Safaraliyev shared their experiences of successful career development and answered the students’ questions.

After the panel discussion, a Career Fair was held, featuring booths from 16 of the country’s leading banks. Representatives of these banks provided students with detailed information about available job openings and internship programs.
