Together with the BAKU ARBITRATION CENTRE, AHKAzerbaijan hosted an AHKImpuls event on “Arbitration for Business Impact: Building Trust through International Arbitration.” The discussion highlighted how modern dispute resolution mechanisms strengthen international trade and support regional commercial stability.

Keynote speaker Kamalia Mehtiyeva, President of the Board of Directors of the Baku Arbitration Centre, shared insights into arbitration’s growing global importance and its advantages for businesses, including faster dispute resolution, flexible procedures, independent arbitrators, and strict confidentiality.

A special highlight The Baku Arbitration Centre has been shortlisted for the Global Arbitration Review Awards in the category “Regional Arbitral Institution that Impressed.”

The event concluded with a panel discussion on arbitration in international business, where experts shared practical insights from different industries. The conversation focused on how companies use arbitration in cross-border transactions, particularly in the aviation and banking sectors, and how businesses decide between arbitration and state courts when drafting contracts.
