The President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, visited a hospital to check on individuals injured during the recent events.
According to innews media, the UAE leader made important remarks regarding the ongoing war during his visit to the injured on March 6, 2026.
During the visit, Sheikh Mohamed stated that the five individuals he visited were all civilians. They include two Emirati nationals as well as citizens of India, Sudan, and Iran.
He emphasized that everyone living in the UAE is under the country’s responsibility and expressed hope that all of them will make a full recovery.
The UAE President also stressed that the situation in the country remains stable and highlighted the unity of the people living in the UAE.
He expressed gratitude to the armed forces and various security institutions for their service during the war.
“I thank our armed forces for their vital role and outstanding service during this war. I also thank the Ministry of Interior, the security services, and Civil Defence for their efforts. Their work honours the UAE and everyone who belongs to this country,” he said.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed also praised Emirati citizens for fulfilling their duty during this difficult time, noting that their actions have been a source of pride.
He further acknowledged the support shown by residents and expatriates living in the UAE.
“We are in a time of war, and I promise that we will fulfil our duty to protect our people and our country,” the President said.
In his remarks, Sheikh Mohamed also delivered a message to the enemies of the UAE.
“The UAE is attractive, the UAE is beautiful, and it is a model. But do not be misled by its appearance. The UAE has thick skin and bitter flesh – we are no easy prey,” he stated.
The UAE President concluded by expressing confidence that the country will emerge stronger from this challenge.
“May God protect the UAE, its people, and everyone who lives here with dignity and security. I promise that we will emerge stronger than before,” Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said.
