Within the framework of the “Great Return” Program, the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) is launching a new regular Baku–Lachin bus service to provide high-quality transport services for citizens resettling in territories liberated from occupation.
Starting from February 25, buses operating on the Baku–Lachin route will travel via the Lachin–Hakari–Zangilan highway. Departures from the Baku International Bus Terminal Complex to Lachin will take place daily at 08:00, while return services in the opposite direction will depart at 16:00. The fare for the Baku–Lachin route has been set at AZN 16.10.
An intermediate stop on the route has been designated as Aghali village of Zangilan district. The fare to the intermediate stop has been set at AZN 13.80.
It should be noted that passengers currently travel to Lachin via the regular Baku–Khankendi–Lachin bus service. Once the new Baku–Lachin route is launched, the Baku–Khankendi–Lachin service will operate as the Baku–Shusha route, with Shusha city designated as the final destination.
The regular Baku–Shusha bus service will continue to operate twice daily, as is currently the case. Buses on this route will depart from the Baku International Bus Terminal Complex to Shusha at 07:00 and 11:00, while return services will depart in the opposite direction at 17:00 and at 09:00 the following day. For your information, there have been no changes to the departure times of buses from Shusha city or any other intermediate stops along the route.
Tickets are available exclusively online through the “biletim.az” portal. It should be noted that when Azerbaijani citizens purchase tickets via the portal or mobile application, permits for entry into the territories liberated from occupation are issued automatically.
