A meeting was held between Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Tamash Yojef Torma, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Hungary to Azerbaijan.
It was noted at the meeting that the energy factor plays a significant role in the development of relations between the two countries, and that Azerbaijan contributes to Hungary’s energy security and its objectives of diversifying energy sources. It was expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation with MOL Group and MVM in gas supply and oil and gas production sector of our country. The accession of MVM to the joint venture on Shafag solar energy project was considered as an expansion of partnership relations. It was noted that Hungary is interested in cooperation in the field of restoration of the liberated territories and green energy.
The sides exchanged views on the implementation of the Caspian-Black Sea-European Green Energy Corridor project, as well as the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council 12th Ministerial Meeting and the Green Energy Advisory Council 4th Ministerial Meeting.
