As part of his visit to the United States, Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev met with Ethan Klein, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Associate Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.
The meeting focused on cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, the training of specialists in line with international standards, and opportunities for joint initiatives and training in the areas of energy and cybersecurity.
Views were also exchanged on fostering closer partnerships between U.S. companies and Azerbaijan, and on the steps to be taken in this direction.
The importance of expanding the regulatory and legal framework between the two countries, with particular emphasis on the ICT and artificial intelligence sectors, was underscored.
