Digital Development and Transport Minister Rashad Nabiyev met with Daniel Edwards, Assistant Secretary for Aviation & International Affairs at the U.S. Department of Transportation.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided about Azerbaijan’s strategic importance as a regional transport and logistics hub, as well as ongoing multimodal corridors and infrastructure projects.
They also exchanged views on the opening of the Zangezur corridor, accelerating the TRIPP project, and cooperating with the United States on restoring and modernizing the Nakhchivan railway.
In addition, the parties discussed opportunities for collaboration in other transport sectors—including aviation and maritime transport—as well as within international organizations.
