Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev participated in a meeting of transport ministers from Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and the Black Sea region in Uzbekistan.

Speaking at the meeting, the minister stated that regional transport corridors are not merely trade routes, but also form the foundation for economic prosperity, sustainable development, and lasting peace.

Rashad Nabiyev emphasized that Azerbaijan’s priorities include modernizing physical infrastructure—such as railways, ports, and highways—simplifying customs procedures and advancing digital infrastructure. He also highlighted that within the framework of its partnership with the European Union, Azerbaijan aims to make the region more resilient, competitive, and interconnected.
