On November 6, 2025, The Karabakh Revival Fund organized a meeting with donors and partners titled “Victorious Azerbaijan: From Triumph to Summit in Five Years.”

Organized within the framework of the “#KarabakhTalks” discussion platform, the event was attended by members of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan, state and government officials, family members of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland, war veterans, the Fund’s donors and partners, as well as representatives of the public and media.

The event began with the performance of the State Anthem, followed by a moment of silence in remembrance of the martyrs who gave their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Motherland.

At the start of the event, a video titled “From Tragedy to Triumph” dedicated to the restoration and reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories was screened.

Delivering the opening speech, Chairman of the Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund Rahman Hajiyev stated that this historic day, which is celebrated every year with great pride and honor, symbolizes nation’s unity, determination, and perseverance. According to him, the Victory achieved by the glorious Army under the leadership of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, represents not only the liberation of the lands but also the triumph of national spirit, justice, and sovereignty.

“Looking back at history, we can see that our unity around shared values and our demonstration of solidarity have brought us closer to our goals. Today, all members of society, in the spirit of unity, are actively participating in the restoration of Karabakh. This stems from our national solidarity — our ability to unite as one fist in the most challenging moments.”

Rahman Hajiyev emphasized that over the past five years since the Victory, the Karabakh and East Zangazur regions have become the center of the country’s most extensive restoration and reconstruction efforts:

“Today, life is reviving in Karabakh once again. Our cities and villages are being restored, modern infrastructure is being built, and major projects are being implemented in science, education, culture, and social life. As the Karabakh Revival Fund, we take immense pride in contributing directly to this process and will continue to do our part in the future.”

Rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and member of the Supervisory Board of the Karabakh Revival Fund, Adalat Muradov, stated that the liberation of Karabakh was one of the greatest achievements of the Turkic world in the last 200 years.

“With the victory we achieved in the Patriotic War, we not only liberated our lands from occupation but also restored our dignity and pride. Today, Azerbaijan is the leading state shaping the future of the South Caucasus. Major regional projects are being implemented precisely through Azerbaijan’s initiative and participation,” Adalat Muradov emphasized.

At the event moderated by Parvin Baghirova, Head of the Fundraising and Communications Department of the Karabakh Revival Fund, speeches were delivered by Member of Parliament Ceyhun Mammadov, Acting Chairman of the Board of the Education Development Fund Ilgar Bayramli, Deputy Chairman of the Bar Association Shahmar Mammadov, Chairman of the “Association for Mine Victims in Azerbaijan” public union Rey Karimoglu, President of the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev, wife of National Hero and martyr Major General Polad Hashimov Ofelya Salmanova, wife of martyr Lieutenant Colonel Raguf Orujov and head of the “Victory” Public Union for Support to Families of Martyrs Sevinj Orujova, war veteran Alik Yusifov, and other speakers.

They highlighted the moral and political significance of Victory Day for the people of Azerbaijan and noted that the achieved Victory marked the beginning of a new era in the country’s history.

It should be noted that, on the eve of this remarkable date, the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) donated 200,000 manats to the Karabakh Revival Fund in support of the restoration of the liberated territories.

Chairman of the Board of the Fund, Rahman Hajiyev, presented a “Donation Certificate” to the university’s rector, Adalat Muradov, in appreciation of this valuable support and highly praised the university staff’s contribution to the reconstruction process of Karabakh under his leadership.

It should also be noted that the event participants viewed the photo exhibition “Revival of Karabakh: The Story of Azerbaijan’s Renaissance”, depicting the ongoing restoration and reconstruction works in the liberated territories.

The exhibition, organized based on powerful photographs featured in the eponymous book by British author Graeme Wilson, aims to inform both the domestic public and foreign visitors about the large-scale restoration and construction works carried out in the liberated territories and to visually present, through photographs, the new face of Karabakh, which is reviving and developing day by day.

The presentation of Mr.Wilson’s book “Revival of Karabakh: The Story of the Azerbaijan’s Renaissance” will be held soon.
