An official opening ceremony was held for the Lyceum of Digital Knowledge operating under the Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS).
The event was attended by the vice presidents of SOCAR, representatives of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, leadership of BHOS, as well as parents, students.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, SOCAR Vice President Ziba Mustafayeva emphasized that SOCAR attaches special importance to social projects, particularly to the development of education and science, and consistently provides support in this area. She noted that the Lyceum of Digital Knowledge, established under Baku Higher Oil School, is one of the key projects implemented in this direction.
“The Lyceum has achieved significant results in a short period of time. Its students will gain not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience. The students should make the most of the opportunities provided by the Lyceum and be active both in their studies and in social activities.”
In his speech, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov noted that the Lyceum of Digital Knowledge will play an important role in the development of human capital in the country. He emphasized that the Lyceum carries out purposeful work aimed at developing both digital and social skills among students. The rector expressed confidence that this educational institution will take a special place among secondary schools in the near future.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Institute of Education Fuad Garayev wished the Lyceum success. He expressed confidence that this educational institution will achieve outstanding results in the near future.
At the event, students performed a literary and artistic composition dedicated to the fifth anniversary of Victory Day - November 8.
