The exhibition featured works by members of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan, graduates and professors of the Academy of Arts, as well as amateur artists.
The theme of the exhibition covered the events of Victory Day and the 44-day Patriotic War. The exhibition was titled “44.”
At the opening ceremony, speeches were given by the Director of the Gallery, UNESCO Award owner and artist Aydan Mammadova; digital artist and curator of the gallery Sevil Karimova; representative of Azerbaijani culture abroad and Director of Art Dirçəliş, Islam Bakhshaliyev; and the Head of the Department of “History and Theory of Fine Arts” at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, art critic and associate professor Aslan Khalilov.
Master and performer Mardan Mirza also took part in the event. He presented his newly crafted wind instruments and performed compositions dedicated to Victory Day.
