Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Discuss Cooperation in Digitalization and Innovation

Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport, met in Astana with Nurlan Sauranbayev, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Transport, and Asel Zhanasova, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meetings focused on exploring prospects for cooperation in innovation, digitalization, and information and communication technologies (ICT).

During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation was introduced to the activities of the Astana Hub Innovation Center, receiving detailed information on projects focused on training ICT professionals, supporting startup development, and strengthening the digital ecosystem. The parties exchanged views on opportunities for experience sharing in the field of digital development.

In a separate meeting with Zhaslan Madiyev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Development and Artificial Intelligence of Kazakhstan, Minister Rashad Nabiyev discussed expanding cooperation in digital government solutions, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and space technologies.
