“Aztelekom” LLC, a company within AZCON Holding, has become a member of the World Broadband Association (WBBA) with the aim of supporting global initiatives focused on the development of broadband connectivity.
This membership is a clear example of “Aztelekom’s” transformation into an active participant of the global technological community, extending its influence beyond national borders.
The WBBA is a prestigious platform that unites telecommunications companies, technology providers, and regulatory bodies from various countries around the world. Its main goal is to increase broadband accessibility, promote technological innovation, and strengthen digital inclusion.
It should be noted that “Aztelekom” is the first company in Azerbaijan to become a member of this association.
Participation in WBBA provides “Aztelekom” with opportunities for global partnerships, access to the latest technologies, sharing of industry-leading knowledge, and involvement in shaping digital strategies.
It is worth mentioning that in May of this year, “Aztelekom” was honored with the “Gigacity Champion” award by the World Broadband Association (WBBA) for its outstanding achievements in providing gigabit-speed broadband internet connectivity.
Over the past year, “Aztelekom” has been recognized with several international awards, including the “Speedtest Award for Fastest Fixed Network,” “Best Practice of Home Broadband Development Award,” and “Gigacity Champion.” The company has become the first fixed network provider in the country’s history to achieve all three of these prestigious honors.
