Chairman of the Executive Board of AzerGold CJSC, Zakir Ibrahimov, held a meeting with Matthias Tauber - Managing Director and Senior Partner, Head of Boston Consulting Group (BCG) Europe, Middle East, South America & Africa.
During the meeting, Zakir Ibrahimov provided detailed information about the company’s activity, key achievements in recent years, and strategic goals set for the future. He emphasized that the results of joint projects implemented between AzerGold CJSC and BCG, as well as analyses and assessments conducted with the participation of international experts, have made a significant contribution to improving the company’s operational efficiency.
The Chairman also spoke about measures taken to ensure that AzerGold’s operations are organized in accordance with local legislation and international environmental standards, as well as the company’s efforts to apply modern technologies and align production processes with global market demands.
In turn, Matthias Tauber highly appreciated the achievements of AzerGold CJSC in the mining sector, noting that despite being a relatively new industry in Azerbaijan compared to the oil and gas sector, the company has achieved remarkable results in a short period. He described AzerGold’s focus on implementing international standards and environmental requirements in the development of non-ferrous and ferrous metal deposits as an example of best practice at the regional level.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on expanding cooperation, deepening experience sharing, and exploring future directions for joint initiatives.
