Grant competitions on the issue of mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO) are announced by the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Karabakh Revival Fund (KRF). The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) acts as a project partner.
The main objective of the competition is to support awareness-raising initiatives related to the danger of mines and UXO in the liberated territories, to provide assistance for the reintegration of affected persons, and to encourage the activities of NGOs in the direction of reducing mine risks in the liberated territories.
NGOs wishing to participate in the competition may submit projects covering one of the following directions:
- Conducting awareness-raising activities related to the danger of mines and UXO among citizens settled in the liberated territories, especially near the former line of contact (including persons permanently residing, working or studying there);
- Support for the reintegration into society of those injured by mines and UXO;
- Assessment of risks related to the danger of mines and UXO in the liberated territories.
It should be noted that the period for accepting applications covers 07 October 2025 – 07 November 2025.
Projects submitted by NGOs will be subjected to expert review, evaluated, and the winners will be determined after the completion of the document submission phase. The results of the competition will be announced in the first quarter of 2026.
