Farhad Agayev, a 2024 graduate of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS), who is currently pursuing fully funded doctoral studies at the University of Edinburgh (UK), has started working at the University of Edinburgh as a digital skills coach.

Farhad Agayev is also a fellow of the Alan Turing Institute. He is conducting scientific research on the topic “Quantitative Modeling of Cognitive Functions.”

In 2019, Farhad Agayev was admitted to the “Petroleum Engineering” specialty with a score of 649.6.

From 2024 to 2025, as the winner of the State Program, he studied at the University of Edinburgh's Master's program in Artificial Intelligence.

Other achievements:

- chairman of the Physics Club of BHOS

- winner of Technest Scholarship Program

- internship at BP as a petroleum engineer

- part-time employment at BP as an engineer

- participation in the “Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador” program

- participation in the "Python for Data Science" program (Honor Certificate)

- participation in the "Data Processing: from Machine Learning to Deep Learning" program
