Over 60 films from 33 countries were presented during the five festival days. The program also included a retrospective of films by the master of documentary filmmaking Sergei Dvortsevoy. The closing ceremony and awarding of the winners took place on September 25 at the Nizami Cinema Center.

This year the festival’s main topic was Re≈MC2VOLUTiON/OFF, and most of the presented films were devoted to the search for a human in the modern world and the choice of his way - revolutionary or evolutionary. The sponsors of the festival were Free Art Pro, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers.

The winner of the festival in the best international short film category is "Hey, Gunesh" by Marita Tevzadze and Ana Jegnaradze (Georgia). The best Azerbaijani short film, the film "12/35" directed by Matlab Mukhtarov was awarded first place, and the film "A home on the volcano" directed by Amil Amal was awarded a special jury prize. Rishi Chandna's "Party Poster" (India) and "Childfree" by Sarah Bahramjahan (Iran) were also awarded with special prizes.

The Azerbaijani film "Looking for a Hero" by Ilkin Yusif and French film “A Thousand Fires” by Saeed Taji Farouky are the best feature films in No-Main Competition. “Crotch stories” by Myleine Guiard-Schmid (Belgium) were announced the best short films in No-Main competition. The Special Jury Prize was awarded to the film "Mamody, the last baobab digger" by Cyrille Cornu (France).

The winner in the Best Feature Film category is “The Balcony movie” by Polish director Paweł Loziński. The festival's special jury prize went to the “Gods of Mexico” by Helmut Dosantos and “Alis” by Nicolas van Hemelrik and Claire Weisskopf.

It is worth to mention that in addition to the announcement of the winners, special iCyborg prizes were also presented to the masters of Azerbaijani and international filmmaking for special merits in cinematography. Among them are Sergey Dvortsevoy, Paweł Loziński, Reza Deghati and Jeyhun Mirzoyev. Alekper Huseynov, who is better known by his stage name Alekper Ami (Uncle Alekper), was also awarded the iHuman for his contribution to the development of theatrical art for children.

Founded in 2017 in Baku, the festival is the first independent international documentary film festival, which aims to showcase documentaries from around the world. The festival also intends to find new names and support local documentary filmmakers.
