The Historical Research Club of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) successfully participated in the VI International Scientific Conference on “Travel and Tourism: Cultural Heritage”.

The head of the Club, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Parvin Ahanci and third-year students of the Business Administration specialty Chingiz Mammadov, Nubar Hasanguliyeva and Gudrat Abbasli delivered a scientific presentation on the topic “From Ruins to Revival: The Role of Restored Monuments in the Rise of Tourism Dynamics in Karabakh”.

The presentation provided an innovative analysis of the unique data bank “Material and Cultural Monuments of Karabakh”, created for the first time in the field of Azerbaijani historical science.

The speakers also provided detailed information on how the restoration work carried out in the liberated cities of Shusha, Aghdam, Lachin and Fizuli contributes to the revival of tourism infrastructure and the protection of cultural heritage.
