The Azerbaijan National Anti-Doping Agency (AMADA) continues its efforts to strengthen the fight against doping and raise awareness among athletes across the country. As part of this ongoing mission, a dedicated anti-doping seminar was organized for athletes and support personnel of the Azerbaijan Shooting Federation (AAF).
The primary aim of the seminar was to provide comprehensive information to athletes, their coaches, and medical staff about anti-doping rules, the rights and responsibilities of athletes, and effective strategies for combating doping in sport.
During the seminar, participants received detailed guidance on prohibited substances and methods, doping control procedures, athlete responsibilities, and the process of results management. It was emphasized that athletes may sometimes unintentionally or mistakenly use prohibited substances, making it essential for every athlete to carefully check the ingredients of any medication they use.
The seminar was held in an interactive format, allowing participants to ask questions and engage in open discussions about anti-doping matters.
This initiative reflects AMADA’s ongoing commitment to promoting clean sport and ensuring that all members of the sporting community are well-informed and empowered to make responsible decisions.
