Franco Cozzani, one of the most influential scientists in the world, a renowned Italian professor, and the employee of the European Commission with over 30 years of experience in the field of energy, theoretical physics and nuclear energy, visited Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR.
As part of the visit, he met with BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov. During the meeting, they discussed opportunities for cooperation in the field of renewable energy, innovations, and energy technologies.
The guest then gave a presentation on the topic "Renewable energies: panacea, illusion or useful contribution to our needs". He shared his thoughts on the growing importance of renewable energy sources worldwide and technological developments in this area.
