The Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR hosted a chess tournament dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
The event was attended by BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov and famous Azerbaijani chess players, international women’s grandmasters Zeynab Mamedyarova and Gulnar Mamedova.
In total, 66 students and employees of BHOS participated in the chess tournament.
The top three places were awarded as follows:
Eltaj Asadli: Process Automation Engineering, 1st year (500 AZN)
Nihad Aslanli: Business Administration, 4th year (300 AZN)
Khasay Dadashzade: Business Administration, 1st year (200 AZN)
