The Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR hosted a conference on “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Future of Labor and Energy”.

Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov and Chairman of Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations' Union (ASYOU) Rashad Zeynalov spoke at the opening ceremony of the conference. They emphasized the importance of such initiatives in empowering students.

The speakers included: BP Vice President for the Caspian region, Communications and External Affairs Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency Hasil Abbasov, and Associate Professor of ADA University, an expert in artificial intelligence Samir Rustamov.

The conference discussed the impact of artificial intelligence on employment, the role of digital skills, automation in the energy sector, and the preparation of students for future careers.

The speakers answered questions about the impact of artificial intelligence on employment opportunities, technological innovation in the energy sector, and the role of innovation in career planning.

The conference was organized within the framework of the Student Development Platform (TİPx) of the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population. The event was partnered by the ASYOU.
