BHOS delegation participates in Eurasian Higher Education Summit - EURIE 2025

A delegation led by Rector of Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR Elmar Gasimov participated in the Eurasian Higher Education Summit and Exhibition (EURIE 2025) held in Istanbul.

The visit took place at the invitation of Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, President of the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Aydın University.

Baku Higher Oil School's stand, exhibited as part of the Summit, aroused great interest among the exhibition participants.

President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, together with Minister of Higher Education of Malaysia Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir and President of EURAS Prof. Dr. Mustafa Aydın, visited the BHOS stand.

The stand provided detailed information about Baku Higher Oil School's innovative educational programs, international collaborations, student exchange programs, industry-integrated internship programs, and research projects.

As part of the visit, BHOS Rector Elmar Gasimov held meetings with Rectors of Koç University, Sabancı University, Boğaziçi University, and Istanbul Technical University.

The summit participants exchanged views on the internationalization of higher education systems, joint research projects, and student exchange.

Participation in EURIE 2025 opened up opportunities for BHOS to establish new partnerships and cooperation with institutions specializing in recruiting international students.
