The parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova have arrived in the Republic of Uzbekistan on a working visit on 4 April.
The Speaker of the Milli Majlis was welcomed at the Islam Karimov International Airport of Toshkent by First Deputy Speaker of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sadig Safayev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan Huseyn Guliyev and other officials.
Speaker of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Chairwoman of the Non-Aligned Movement's Parliamentary Network Sahiba Gafarova will take part in the 150th IPU Assembly, the 4th Conference of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement and an APA Coordination Meeting.
The Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament is to deliver a speech at the 150th IPU Assembly and have meetings with the Member-States' Presidents of Parliament, the Heads of the attending delegations and of international organisations as well as with state officials of Uzbekistan.
