Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Numan Kurtulmuş called Speaker of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova on 4 March to congratulate her on the beginning of the sacred month of Ramadan. The GNAT Speaker expressed his wish that this blessed month would bring peace, prosperity, and abundance to the brotherly Azerbaijani people and the entire Muslim world.
During the telephone conversation, the parties also exchanged views on the relations between the brotherly nations, including inter-parliamentary co-operation. Satisfaction was expressed with the high level of interaction between the legislative bodies, bilaterally and within international parliamentary organisations alike.
