Third-year students of the Chemical Engineering Department of  Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) of SOCAR have won the 6th Grant Competition held by the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA).

The project, jointly prepared by the project leader Khayala Miriyeva and the project participant Fatima Nasirova, received financial support in the amount of 15,250.00 AZN under the "Support for the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises through education, science and research" grant program.

The project converts waste edible oils into environmentally friendly and healthy cleaning materials through a two-step synthesis process. This innovative approach helps reduce the use of chemicals and protect the environment, allowing for the production of sustainable and environmentally friendly products.

The scientific leader of the project is Elmar Asgerzade, senior engineer at the Innovation and Research Center.
