A delegation headed by General Director of the National Oil Company of the Republic of Congo Maixent Raoul Ominga has visited Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS).
The meeting was also attended by young Congolese studying at the BHOS within the bachelor’s degree programs.
Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov stressed the importance of this cooperation and noted that it plays an important role in the training of Congolese students as professionals.
In turn, Maixent Raoul Ominga noted that the acquisition of modern knowledge and skills in the oil and gas sector by Congolese youth, as well as their gaining of international experience will expand their career opportunities.
Towards the end of the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the strengthening of cooperation and the implementation of future projects.
Then, the guest visited the Student House and got acquainted in detail with the living conditions of the students.
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding concluded between the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Oil Company of the Republic of the Congo, 8 young Congolese are studying at Baku Higher Oil School for a bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering.
