The trophy awarded to the winners of the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2024 has captured attention with its unique national design.

Inspired by the traditional patterns of Karabakh carpets, the official trophy reflects the deep-rooted heritage and craftsmanship of the country. These motifs symbolize both aesthetic beauty and a tribute to Azerbaijan’s rich cultural legacy.

The design incorporates flames, highlighting Azerbaijan's reputation as the "Land of Fire," while also emphasizing the country's strong presence in the world of sports. National patterns and elements are featured on all three trophies, which are crafted from pure silver.

The official awards and medals were presented to the winners of the final race by FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem, President of the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation Anar Alakbarov, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Mayor of Baku Eldar Azizov, and Qatar Airways Vice President for Africa Hendrik Du Preez.

In the Baku race, McLaren’s Oscar Piastri finished first after completing 51 laps. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc took second place, while Mercedes driver George Russell finished third.
