Summer is the hottest time of the year, a time of hot and long sunny days. Summer leaves strong memories that cannot be forgotten. Festival “Baku. Sea. Summer." dedicated to these unforgettable moments.
The key element of the festival was a photo exhibition of 20 works from 15 authors. The exposition of the ascetic beauty of chiaroscuro and the energy of the sun, the harsh contrasts of bright light and deep shadow come together into a common puzzle of bright moments of the Baku summer, hot and unforgettable.
The works of Joshgun Suleymanov, Nurziya Khalilova, Aydin Mehdiyev, Leyla Agayeva, Valery Bazrukh, Emil Gazi, Veronica Grigoryeva, Teymur Bekirzadeh, Irada Asadova, Fakhraddin Mamedov, Vsevolod Tsurikov, Nigar Babayeva, Akhmed Khatamzadeh, Maryam Nazarli and Rustam Huseynov created an image where the scorching the heat stops time, and the atmosphere of the place prevails over its rare guests. The shores of the Caspian sea and daytime summer Baku, those places that for many generations are associated with emotional personal memories and have preserved their image. Arzu Manafli read her poems, adding to the creative atmosphere of the vibrant exhibition.
Spectators actively discussed the works with their authors, comparing styles and features of artistic style. The soft evening light from the panoramic windows of the Russian House added a special atmospheric ambiance to the festival.
