Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, held a meeting with Marianne de Jong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, the guest was briefed on the scale of the existing mine problem in the country, the consequences caused by this problem, as well as the progress of humanitarian demining activities carried out in Garabagh and East Zangazur.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on prospects for future cooperation between the two countries in the field of mine action.
