The press conference was attended by festival director Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Shahin Novrasli, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Azerbaijan Tamas Torma, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Azerbaijan Sophie Lagout, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Icherisheher State Historical and Architectural Reserve Rena Nasirova-Mustafayeva, director of the Maksud Ibragimbekov Creativity Center Anna Ibragimbekova, founder of the Kurban Said restaurant Sabina Ulukhanova; director of YIĞIM Payment System Vugar Jafarov; representative of InCruises Gulnaz Musina; representative of FORTIS development Dilbar Hajiyeva; and participating musicians Isaac Jamba (Brazil), Josefina Becker (Chile), and Eric Jacot (France).
Festival founder and director Shahin Novrasli spoke in detail about the program and its special features, including the change of main venue—this year the festival is taking place entirely in Icheri Sheher and the rebranding. He concluded by expressing gratitude to the festival's partners, sponsors, and participants.
In their Q&A sessions, the festival's participating musicians praised Azerbaijani hospitality and shared their impressions of Baku.
Festival visitors can expect a rich musical program featuring musicians from ten countries. The fifth international Shahin Novrasli Festival will open on July 3 with a concert by Josefina Becker and close on July 12 with an epic Brazilian musical evening.
