On July 7, 2026, the Baku Stock Exchange hosted the CFA Charter Award Ceremony, awarding 33 investment professionals from Azerbaijan who earned the prestigious CFA Charter during 2024 and 2025.
The event brought together newly awarded CFA charterholders, existing members of the CFA community and representatives of CFA Institute, CFA Society Istanbul providing an opportunity to celebrate professional achievement while strengthening industry connections.
The ceremony commenced with welcome remarks by Ruslan Khalilov, CEO of the Baku Stock Exchange, followed by addresses from Rob Langrick, CFA, CIPM, Chief Product Advocate at CFA Institute, Ece Mandaci Baysal, CFA, Vice President of CFA Society Istanbul, İlke Homriş, CFA, Managing Director of CFA Society Istanbul, Mehmet Sinan Veziroglu, President of CFA Society Istanbul and Shahin Mahmudzada, Executive Director of the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the ceremony, certificates were presented to the professionals who successfully earned the globally recognized CFA Charter over the past two years, marking an important milestone in their professional careers and highlighting their commitment to the highest standards of ethics, education and professional excellence in the investment profession.
Hosted by the Baku Stock Exchange, the event reflects the Exchange's continued commitment to supporting the development of Azerbaijan's capital markets by fostering professional excellence, strengthening industry collaboration, and promoting internationally recognized professional standards.
