SOCAR President Meets with Managing Director of Chevron’s Eurasia Business Unit

On 2 June 2026, within the framework of Baku Energy Week, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Derek Magness, Managing Director of the Eurasia Business Unit of Chevron Corporation.

During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with Chevron’s successful operations in Azerbaijan. The parties highlighted the importance of the document signed between SOCAR and Chevron during the opening ceremony of Baku Energy Week in terms of expanding cooperation and reviewed the next steps to be undertaken in this regard.

The parties also exchanged views on opportunities for implementing joint projects in Azerbaijan and other countries, as well as on other issues of mutual interest.
