On 2 June 2026, within the framework of Baku Energy Week, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Jonathan Bar, Managing Director of Apollo Global Management, Inc..

During the meeting, it was noted that Baku Energy Week makes a significant contribution to the development of international energy cooperation. In this context, the importance of the documents signed between the parties during the opening ceremony of the event was highlighted in terms of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.

The parties reviewed opportunities for cooperation in the areas of midstream operations and the green energy transition. They also exchanged views on optimizing the capital structure of energy projects, implementing innovative investment solutions, and other issues of mutual interest.
