On 27 February 2026, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf met with Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, Chief Executive Officer of Masdar.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the successful cooperation between SOCAR and Masdar in the development of renewable energy sources. In this context, the parties reviewed progress on wind and solar power plant projects implemented in Azerbaijan with the joint participation of the companies.
The sides also discussed prospects for further developing cooperation in the areas of a just energy transition and decarbonization, as well as other issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of continuing dialogue in these directions.
