A cyber awareness training session for media representatives was held at the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, operating under the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA). The training was conducted within the framework of the Center’s CyberCollab project.
The main objective of the training was to raise media representatives’ awareness of existing cyber threats in an increasingly digital world and to provide practical knowledge on the types of cyberattacks targeting media organizations, along with effective protection measures.
During the training, information security experts from the IDDA conducted sessions covering current cyber threats, real-life examples of social engineering attacks, and recommendations for maintaining digital security. Participants were also given detailed guidance on the importance of adhering to cybersecurity rules when using widely adopted artificial intelligence-based platforms.
It is worth noting that this is already the third such event held this year, organized by the IDDA and the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center to enhance media representatives’ cyber awareness. In total, more than 100 media representatives have participated in these training sessions throughout the year.
